In our recent road trip around the West Coast of the USA we took a day to drive along the cliffs of stunning Big Sur. We spent all day curving along the snake like roads, with privileged views towards the Pacific.
It was only towards the end of the day, when the cliffs ended and we were on a mission to reach Morro Bay to spend the night that we saw a parking lot full of cars and people. A crowd is always a sign that something (probably interesting) is going on, so we decided to stop as well.
And that’s how we found this beach, FULL of seals. We had never seen such a concentration of them before! Goofing around, napping, coming in and out of the water… This beach was like the India of seals: over-populated but everyone wanted to come and see!
