Turkey is a unique country that breathes in the winds from both Europe and Asia.
It presents a great ensemble of intense culture and folklore, delicious cuisine (particularly for meat lovers!), rich historical heritage and landscapes as if out of a fairy tale.
In Cappadocia, for example, inspiration takes the shape of odd rock formations that remind us of centuries and centuries of winds that eroded this place to look like the marvel that is it today.
On a trip to Turkey, one can combine some adventure around Cappadocia, enjoy archaeological marvels built by the Ottoman Empire, spend time in cosmopolitan Istanbul for a change of scenery and still live the good life with some Antalya holidays by the Mediterranean coast.
Take your time when you travel around Turkey and it is very likely that this country will enchant you – as for us, we can’t wait to go back and explore some more!
Hey there, we must literally be following the same itinerary, I’ve received several of your blog posts over the past week and had a chuckle to myself as I have come from India and i’m currently in Turkey! Turkey is a fabulous place, it has it all, culture, food, history, natural beauty and fabulous people! I travelled through Istanbul, Cappadocia, Ephesus and Pammukale and enjoyed every minute of it, but my biggest regret is I didn’t leave enough time to properly travel this country as there is so much more I want to see and experience! Turkey really does have it all and some!
