Las Vegas is a weird mix of extravagant, odd and funny.
I remember having the most surreal feeling when we came out of the show Absinthe in Las Vegas one night. Not only this show was happening inside a circus tent by a grand Roman looking building (Ceasar’s Palace), right in front of us was the Eiffel Tower. A little ahead, people would take gondola rides in what could have easily been Venice, and a smaller Statue of Liberty would overlook a hotel in the shape of Egyptian pyramids.
If aliens come down to Earth and see this after exploring the rest of our planet, I wonder what conclusions they’d eventually reach.
