Although Machu Picchu is indeed the most famous of the ancient cities from the Inca civilization, that doesn’t mean that there aren’t other constructions (now a days ruins) that deserve to be visited and admired too. And Pisac is one of those!
About one hour away from the super touristic city of Cusco, Pisac offers a very different kind of vibe. The town is small and up the mountain, overlooking the town square and houses around it, sit these ancient ruins that reminds us of the time when the Incas used to be on top of the world!
