While canoeing in the Amazon river looking for pink dolphins our little motor ran out of fuel. Not being able to paddle upstream we stopped at this friendly fisherman’s boat. He and his family were busy netting their catch of the day. September 5th 2012 was an amazing day in the Amazon river!
Fishes were jumping all over the place and several ended up landing right inside our canoe (I had to throw out a few to save their lives, isn’t that noble? :)). It was quite an experience! After buying some fuel from this family for 5 soles we set off again to look at some dolphins.
It was definitely a good day for this man and his family.
