The Torres del Paine national park in Chile will make you fly, the winds there are really that strong.
However, the beauty of the place is unsurpassed. We were in Torres del Paine during the freezing patagonian winter. The temperature was below zero degrees and the wind was blowing by at about 80km/hr.
It was ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT! :)
Breath-taking. I’m loving this place already. I’m heading to Chille in August 2012 :) Can’t wait.
It is very beautiful indeed… but terribly cold that time of year!!
We also visited the South of Chile during July or so… be ready!!! :)
brrrrrrrrrrrr!
