In Portugal, back where I come from, neighbors usually chat from window to window in traditional areas like Alfama, in Lisbon. Sometimes they shout so much to be able to hear each other, that the whole neighborhood ends up finding out the latest gossip and what’s going on with those living close by.
In this fake window someone is closing the curtains… that can only mean that there are secrets that neighbors are not supposed to find out!
