I love coming across artsy things by chance. It could be street musicians, graffiti, coffee art or, like in this case, carvings on wood!
I have seen plenty of wooden carvings in crafts markets, but this was the first time I came across a sculpted figure on a living tree.
We saw this tree as we were walking around La Fortuna cascade, in Costa Rica, and stopped by to admire it for a few minutes.
Travel is made by little things like this, little things you come across and that for one reason or the other make you smile and think that there is so much out there to be seen!
