Famous for the ancient Nasca Lines in the desert, Nasca in Peru is a dry dusty city where Hotel Nasca Oasis stands out for it’s green and fresh set-up.
This hostel is built in “hacienda” style: there is the main building where the reception, restaurant, and lounge area are located, and separate buildings where the rooms are. Your room is like your own little house – there are single, double and family options, all of them with a large en-suite bathroom with tub and also cable TV in the room.
Stays include breakfast served in the restaurant, where the drip coffee stands out. You’ll also have a chance to try the huge juicy olives the nearby regions are famous for.
The restaurant is open for lunch and early dinner with an a la carte menu: if you are very hungry, I recommend you try the Milanesa de Pollo (breaded chicken with fries) which is not only tasty but huge!
The best part of Hotel Nasca Oasis is hands down, the garden and pool area. Being a desert, it does get extremely hot in Nazca so you can’t go wrong with a refreshing dip. From the pool area itself, you can appreciate the mountain views around and, on clearer days, even see the Grand Duna, the biggest sand dune in the world!
