Sweet dim sum in Chiang Mai, Thailand

Dim Sum Friends

No land displays the cute factor in everyday aspects of life like Thailand does. At least I have never traveled anywhere else that could remotely compare. In Thailand, people love to personalize their items and doll things up: this applies to stationery, brand mascots, vehicles, clothing, accessories and even food!

The saying “do not play with your food” doesn’t probably work around here, because in the case of these colorful dim sum, they are totally asking for it!

Filled with sweet red bean or black sesame paste, these rice flour buns are made to sweeten up your mouth but also entertain the child inside you. As some say when it comes to food presentation, the eyes also eat.. but in some cases you almost feed guilty for eating such good looking characters, for the equivalent of 0.45 USD a piece!
