Cabo Da Roca

The westernmost point in mainland Europe

Today’s photo of the day takes us to the westernmost point of continental Europe.

Cabo da Roca in Portugal, was described as The World’s End at one point in history. The scenery there is quite phenomenal! Steep cliffs bouncing into the depths of the Atlantic ocean surrounding by rolling hills covered in green. The sea breeze makes it a bit chilly but do not miss this place if you’re ever in Portugal.

It’s on the way from Lisbon to Sintra so definitely worth a short detour!
