As we drove all the way down the pacific coast highway in the US we stopped for a couple of nights at Morro Bay.
Morro Bay is a quaint seaside town in the San Luis Obispo county of California. It’s famous because of it’s backwaters and the Morro rock as seen in this picture which makes for a pretty great place for kayaking. Apparently the rock has been around for millenia and was created due to volcanic activity. You aren’t allowed to climb it because it’s protected, but people still try. Can’t blame them! It looks quite tempting!
