Ravenous, we were walking around Central in Hong Kong. The only restaurant in sight was one that specialized in Shenzhen cuisine. Shenzhen is in the south of China and their specialty are dishes with goose.
We ducked into the restaurant and were offered goose. Zara decided to play it safe and ordered the “special noodles”. This is what she got. As they didn’t speak much English we couldn’t understand what the ingredients were. Still, an interesting combination!
At another place we wanted to order vegetarian dumplings and the chef warned us that the vegetarian dumplings have fish stomach as an ingredient.
Gotta be pretty adventurous with food in the orient!
