Sometimes, while traveling, you plan a lot how to get to do adventurous activities, go to new places and experience exciting things.
Some other times, you just jump into a colectivo (small shared vans that work as buses) and have the time of your life chatting to locals and people watching.
Up in the Colca Valley we took a colectivo going between two villages. The ride was full of ladies and kids who had gone to the main town to buy supplies. It was about 20 of us on a van that had probably 10 seats.
This girl was sitting down and protecting her apple from the bumpy ride.
Cute, isn’t she?
I suddenly miss all the kids milling around Cusco with baby llamas. Excellent photo!
