The Atacama desert is one of the best places for star gazing. Step out at night and you’ll find yourself confronted with infinite diamonds in the sky. I used to think that I was good at spotting constellations. Well, not anymore! The sheer number of stars confounds me!
This is a shot of the milky way I took last night. We stepped out into the cold desert air and walked out of town for a bit to get a good look. We got some good luck too because we spotted quite a few shooting stars :)
how beautiful.
