The carnival in Salvador de Bahia, creates a broad range of strange sights.
On the one hand, you’ll see people partying on the streets like there’s no tomorrow, on the other – many will maintain safe distance from the crazy crowds. You can actually rent balconies (hourly) to watch the parades from.
