There is no doubt that the Colombian city of Cartagena de Indias is ultra picturesque. With its quaint architecture, bright colors all around and Caribbean people’s hustle and bustle adding to the charm.
In in the middle of all of this eye-catching beauty, it is difficult to stand out. Still, street artists like the one who painted this graffiti did manage to attract my attention, while capturing my heart. The words in Spanish read “Because love is the only thing that keeps us alive“.
I imagine the artist who created this painting must have dedicated the mural to his muse, the lady with funky hair. Who knows what the history behind this really is… it is romantic, pretty and very true!
