The ruins at Pisac

The incas liked to build their cities at high altitudes – as is evident from the famous Machu Picchu. Pisac is a small town about an hour outside of Cusco and boasts some pretty impressive ruins!

The ruins at Pisac sit atop a high mountain and overlook the entire valley below. Awesome!
