Berlin is hipsterland.
Otherwise, how can anyone explain the existence of shop names such as “HI I don’t care thank you”. They don’t care because not caring is perceived as cool. Once upon a time not caring was dull. But then it started becoming cool. And later on even cooler, so much that it turned into mainstream and, as such, uncool. And that’s probably when hipsters started caring… until they over did it and not caring was the new caring, aka, the new thing to do.
Man… hipsters are complicated. But Berlin is pretty damn cool!
