Are we in Tomb Raider?

Looks like Zara Croft is at it again. This time we ended up on an adventure inside the beautiful Angkor Archaeological Park in Cambodia. The temple that lies in ruins in front of us is called Ta Prohm. Over the centuries, massive tropical trees have dug their roots through sheer stone to reach the nutritious soil below. What we thus observe are trees that literally grow and snake around stone.

This and several temples around it are the areas where Tomb Raider was shot. It’s no wonder why, this place looks absolutely magnificent and exotic!

The Angkor area is over 400 square kilometers and full of temples from over a 1000 years ago! If you like ruins, historic buildings, mystical temples, and stories of a kingdom that was first Hindu, then Buddhist, then this is just the place for you! Apparently it’s also the place for Zara Croft, Tomb Videographer ;)
