We passed through this village in the Colca Valley while busing from one place to another. It was hot in the sun and cold in the shade. At altitudes such as this (above 3,000m / ~10,000 ft) the sun’s UV rays really beat down on you and sunscreen is a must unless you want charred cheeks!
