Flight taking off

To TRAVEL is to LIVE!

You know you were born to travel the world when the thought of being behind the wheel on an open road makes you heart pump faster. When the sound of a train in motion brings to mind all the amazing possibilities that arise when you’re not stationary in one given place. Or even when getting into a plane feels like you’re a kid on Christmas morning.

I am learning to live with the fact that, the more I travel, the more I feel there are still places left for me to see and experience. But this is a good problem to have, of course!

I still have to go to Japan and drown myself in soul comforting bowls of ramen; get lost in the Mongolian countryside; dance Gangnam Style in Korea and soak up the sun at the beach in the Philippines.

I want to see with my own eyes all the great things that happen in Africa and that not many travelers get to enjoy as compared to other places. Beyond the safaris, beyond the pyramids.

And dance salsa in Colombia; backpack across all the Latin American countries we haven’t been to yet; have rice & beans until I drop.

Get iced-up in Antarctica, Iceland, Russia or Alaska… and then head straight to the heart of Europe and let my homeland warm me up.

Catch a flight to Australia and explore the land down under for a good few months. I’d take my time to check out the city scene, eating around different types of restaurants and walking all over the place indulging in people watching. I’d rent a bike to get around and I’d definitely partake in the laid-back beach inspired life-style. I’d learn how to surf, dive with amazing sea creatures, camp in the Golden Outback, trek across deserts and forests. I would BBQ under the stars and hop around vineyards tasting a little bit of everything.

I want to meet people here, there and everywhere, and exchange tales with them. And let them make my travel wishlist fatter everyday… I want to see it all. I mean it: ALL!

What about you? What’s on your bucket list these days?
