It’s funny how most people associate Amsterdam with canals, old buildings and  charming little roads. Yet for me, aesthetically, what stands out the most in this city are the ultra modern buildings. The Hundertwasserhaus in Vienna is pretty much a piece of art. It’s an apartment complex designed with the philosophy that one should live in harmony with nature. Paris as a city has an interesting layout. Instead of being planned in squares, the city is laid out in concentric localities called arrondissements.
