The public transport isn't as good as Stockholm. Finns are cold and rude. You can say a Finn is an extrovert if he looks at your shoes while talking instead of his own shoes!! Finns are very shy to talk to strangers or even sit near one in public transport but they gladly enter into sauna naked with strangers!! A bunch of hypocrites!! Helsinki is never empty. WTF!? I have NEVER in my life seen that city so empty. You must've arrived right at midsummer festival weekend because that is not the Helsinki I know - and I am a Finn and travel via Helsinki few times a year on my way to see family :) As for meat, yes, you will get reindeer and elk and even bear but actually Finland is SUPER vegan friendly these days. You can walk into Hesburger (the native alternative to McD/BK) and they have a vegan wrap (with breaded soy chunks instead of chicken) and a vegan beanburger on the menu. No salad rolls or having to substitute items to get a vegan option....result! That video clip you took of the roundabout in Helsinki… WTF!? I have NEVER in my life seen that city so empty.
