That's a good point. Thanks for sharing Bruno. I never asked about the postpaid plans since there was no chance that I could try them out. Well, my reviews for 3G are from the perspective of foreigners (hence only reviews for pre-paid plans in each country).

A bit of a late reply, but you're both kind of right. Vivo does cap your speed after a fairly low usage, but that is only for pre-paid 3G plans. If you're on a regular (post-paid) plan you get pretty good rates on uncapped 3G access (though uncapped usually means 0.8-2.0 Mbps). For instance, I get 250 MB/month for 15 reais (roughly 7 dollars), but regular plans are not for foreigners.

Not true. The Vivo plan caps you after a certain amount of megs being used (I believe it was 20 Megs when I checked). After 20 Megs - you can no longer access the internet at 3G speeds - you only get edge. Please don't spread misinformation.

Hi! Well, the problem reported by you only occurs with users without regard to the operator. I have a plan with Vivo for $ 20.00 per month which gives me unlimited direct navigation at speeds up to 1.7Mbps.
