I can only imagine your ordeal. Back in the days when we didn't have computers and the Internet, we found ourselves in a somewhat similar situation. Not as horrific as yours, but still bad enough. I am terrified of rats and mice, to the point that I am able to climb up the ceiling lamp to get away from them. I think I would have moved out the very next day, refund or not refund. All of the furniture was picked from tree lawns. All broken down....folded blankets replaced the missing seat cushions. Cats crawling on the counters, a dog with fleas. A gross bathtub, which I cleaned before using it, along with the toilet and sink. The people we stayed with were so friendly and sweet, I just went ahead and stayed. The bed was comfy with nice pillows and an a/c unit. What the heck. Wasn't all bad I guess. My first AIRBNB experience was ‘interesting’. All of the furniture was picked from tree lawns. Luckily, we contacted AirBNB and we got our refund after the first night! I’m so amazed you managed to stay the second night! We got our refund and booked into another apartment from AirBNB which was amazing and CLEAN!
