I visited a Vodafone shop in Baixa in Lisbon and the guy there was really helpful. Make sure you remember to ask them for the APN settings though since it takes about 30 minutes after you purchase your sim for it to get activated. Or, you could hang around in the mall while you wait, there's a great salad place upstairs :D I’m pretty sure the Vodafone rep will be able to help you with the APN settings that you’ll require.
