But, don't worry, apart from this one bad experience we had EXCELLENT Mexican food in Arizona. I remember a place called Asadero in Phoenix serving delicious food. It was so authentic that we even ordered in Spanish - we were the only non-Mexicans in the house. It made us reminisce of our travels in our beloved Mexico.. for a meal it really felt like we were South of the border! Taco Hell is such a spot on name!!
But, don’t worry, apart from this one bad experience we had EXCELLENT Mexican food in Arizona. I remember a place called Asadero in Phoenix serving delicious food. I've experienced most of these annoyances. But I have to say my worse experience ever, with absolutely nothing comparing to its intensity, was India. Maybe my budget was really low (600€ for half a year in 2009) but with the exception of the Andaman Islands there was never a stress-free second. I was amazed by how people managed to turn my 5 months there into a living hell. I had to cross the border to Nepal for the 6th month before going mad. But as you say, for every little travel disaster there are 100000 rewards :) Hhahaha great post! I’ve experienced most of these annoyances.
