Inside Telc Castle

Within the walls of a Czech castle

As we were driving from Brno (I love how they put several consonants together with no vowels, this one’s pronounced like: BurrNaw) to Český Krumlov (read: Cheskee Krumlov) in the Czech Republic, we decided to stop for a bit at Telč. (pronounced sort of like: Telch) We were so glad that we did! We drove into the town center which was inside the old castle and ended up at this place.

There were rows upon rows of fairytale like houses in all colors. It looks quiet here but on the other side the market was bustling with activity. There were ice cream sellers, cafes with their chairs outside, and even an entire pig on a grill!

If you’re in the area, Telč is definitely worth checking out!
