When we traveled to Bogota, we stayed at the Bog Hotel located in one of city’s trendiest neighborhoods, La Cabrera. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this beautiful hotel was designed by a fellow Portuguese, Nina Andrade. The concept behind it though is inspired in very Colombian elements such as gold and emerald.

Ideally, one should head to the rooftop pool afterwards, either to enjoy the sun go down over Bogota’s skyline from inside the pool itself, or while sipping some cocktails.

Looks like a very cool hotel in Bogota – we’ll bookmark it for when we hopefully visit! The Columbian hats on the wall in the bar are fun :-).

I looked into staying at this beautiful hotel when I was in Bogota- too bad it’s so expensive!
