It’s amazing how music can fill an empty space. While walking through Castelo de Sao Jorge (Saint George’s Castle) in Lisbon, Portugal – we came across this gifted Fado player. He filled the walls of the castle with his wonderfully mournful music. Come listen with us!
Zara mentions in the video that Alfonso I killed his mother. However, the situation was not quite that extreme. What he did was (at the early age of 12) – wage a war against his mother and step-father. Eventually, when he was victorious, he exiled his mother to Galicia. A wonderful start nonetheless!
